Bodyography is creating a buzz in Hollywood, with recently being featured in the Insider and also sponsored project Ethos for up and coming artists.

Bodyography Artistic Team Creates the Look for Sydney Fashion designer Bowie’s International Look Book.

The shoot took place on the 29th Aug at Sun Studios in Sydney. Bodyography artist Kate Robinson and photographer Ross Lawrence teamed up to shoot 33 outfits in 6 hours for Bowes new look book. I this shot Clear primer, Ink mascara, Berries N Ice, Ivory Beige and Sunkissed bronzer was used.

Bodyography Team chosen to do makeup for Beyonce Band members and dancers.

On September 20, the Bodyography artistic team was asked to do the makeup for a photo shoot for Ink Magazine featuring and highlighting some of Beyonce’s backing band; focusing on lead guitarist Bibi (pictured). Following the shoot, the Bodyography team was asked backstage to carry out all the makeup for all Beyonce’s band members including Bibi (guitarist), Destiny (saxophone) and Catchy (bass guitar).

Bodyography Launches Academy and Photo Studio in Melbourne with Launch attended by Melbourne celebrities, AFL Stars and Fashion TV.

The first Australian Bodyography Academy has officially open its doors in Melbourne on the 17th November. Guests including many Melbourne celebrities, AFL stars, Models and Fashion TV were treated to Red Caret treatment before entering the newly completed Academy training facilities.
The launch of the Academy is a massive step forward for Bodyography securing its position and support based on education. Included in the fit out is a full working photo studio and audio visual equipment to capture and display each artists work.
Courses are to begin in early 2010 with workshops commencing late 2009, keep an eye out for calendars and training dates.

Film in Bodyography Studio

Fashion TV Australia are the first to utilize Bodyography newly opened Academy and Studio to shoot 4 segments for Hair brand Label M. The shoot featured three individual models demonstrating to viewers at home how to achieve these three collections at home using Label M products.

The shoot commenced with Bodyography Artists preparing the models following the filming of the How to Segment presented by Toni & Guy Melbourne salon owner Jo Smith. The filming then went into a photo shoot with both video and photographer shooting the collections.

Bodyography Makeup is quickly becoming a favourite makeup brand not only for makeup artists but also for Photographers, Videographers and modeling agencies. The results are amazing and truly reflect well on camera in Digital or HD.

The synergy between Toni & Guy and Bodyography continued with the two companies teaming up to help create Toni & Guys 2010 TV Commercial featuring Miss Universe Australia winner Rachel Finch.

The commercial was shot in CI Studios Sydney and will air throughout 2010. Jodie Drago Bodyography makeup artist from Melbourne was present along with Rob Tamburro for a full day of production. Click HERE for behind the Scenes Video

Bodyography to transform Models for Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival
Bodyography are pleased to work along side Leiela Fashion for Loreal Fashion Festival. Wed 17th March will see 15 models be made up in the Bodyography studios where they will be photographed before leaving the Studio for a special treat to Melbourne. Bodyography to support Ovation. Help raise money for Ovarian Cancer
Friday the 12th March will see the Bodyography Team head to Crown Casino for Ovation. The team will work on 60 performers and dancers transforming them into circus clowns for the show which will take place in the crown Palladium. This will be the biggest team Bodyography has put together for any event having to cover 60 performers in 4 hours.

Bodyography & Silk Road create a Risque night of Burlesque with former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
On Saturday the 27th March Grand Prix Weekend, Bodyography in conjunction with Silk Road put on “A Risque Night of Burlesque” at Silk Road in Melbourne. The event featured Ashley Roberts formally from the Pussy Cat dolls and Frankie Del Gado from the Hills. The Upper Champagne lounge of Silk Road was transformed into a Hollywood style set, with the Bodyography Artistic Team providing make overs to many of the 1400 people that visited the night. Photographers were on hand to shoot our pampered guests in front of the media board before hosts Ashley Roberts and Frankie Del Gado arrived.

On a night that Bodyography was presenting the 2010 Makeup Artist of the year, the team at Bodyography Australia were also presented with an award for Importer of the year. The Bodyography team was on hand to transform people into the Moulin Rouge theme live in the venue, followed by being snapped on the Bodyography Red Carpet.

Playboy Club 50th Anniversary Party.
On thursday the 10th June Bodyography Sponsored the Playboy Club 50th Anniversary party in Melbourne. The party was part of a 50 cities celebration around the world celebrating 50 years of the Playboy Club. Bodyography artists were present to provide touch up for guests as well as the Playboy bunnies hosting the night.
The evening was attended by local celebrities and personalities and each guest received a Catalina Eye pencil or eye primer pen. For bodyography it was a great pleasure to work with one of the worlds most recognized brands. Click on images for for photos from the evening.

Jeans for Genes Day.

The Bodyography Artistic team gathered on the 6th and 7th of August for the Australian launch of gridlock denim. The events had two different themes with Friday night having a Rockstar theme followed by Saturday night Enchanted winter wonderland. Bodyography artists created the looks for the catwalk show, entertainers and guests at the opulent Silk Road Melbourne.

In addition to the the launch Bodyography also helped raise money for Jeans for Genes day having volenteers work on Bourke street mall together with Silk Road staff. On the night special packs and drinks were also made whereby a percentage of the sales going toward jeans for genes day. Click on pictures for more photos.

Miss Lingerie Australia & Miss Indy Australia

Bodyography sponsors the Royal Children's hospital Neonatal ball.

Recently the Bodyography Artistic team was called in to create the looks for the Miss Lingerie Australia competition and also Miss Indy competition melbourne heats.

Miss Lingerie was held at East nightclub on the Gold Coast, in front of a packed house. The girls were also treated to a day photoshoot with the Fashion TV crew on a 6 million dollar yacht.

Miss Indy was held at Fashion Lounge in Melbourne which is part of a nationwide search to find Miss Indy on the Gold Coast for the up and coming race in October.

Bodyography Australia donated over $1000 worth of products for a silent Auction at the Royal Children’s hospital Neonatal unit ball in September. The products were then included in a silenta that helped raise money for the specialised Neonatal unit at the Children’s Hospital.

The ball theme of the ball this year was “A Celebration of Love” following on from last year’s “A celebration of Life” and was attended by over 500 people, The staff at the Neo Natal unit make a difference in peoples’ lives in a way that can never be truly explained in words.

They offer their extraordinary skills as surgeons and nurses and couple this with support, generosity and love. Bodyography are proud to have played a small part in this event and assist this great cause.

Bodyography Artistic team together with Muk Hair does Hair & Makeup for ex Taxiride frontman
Jason Singh, for his new video clip of “I can Dream” Watch Music Video

Bodyography artist Ruth Nguyen teamed up with muk hair care to create the look for ex taxiride frontman Jason Singh as he launches his new single “I Can Dream”. The shoot took place in an amazing Port Melbourne apartment and was shot between 6pm and finished at 4am in the morning using some new technologies that never has been tried before. Jason is no stranger to success. His career with Taxiride was punctuated with 8 Top 10 hits, gold, platinum and multi-platinum records, ARIA Awards, and countless sold out national and international tours.

Derby Day 2010 in Melbourne may have been washed out but that didn’t stop Made in Melbourne & Bodyography pack out the newly renovated room called Eden at the Trust Bar. The newly renovated rooms included fake grass and trees, park benches and vines to resemble the bird cage at Flemington. Guests were picked up by coach and escorted to the Trust Bar where they were entertained by a fashion parade and local designers. Of course the Bodyography Artistic team was on hand to create the stunning looks.

Why is it that Bodyography seems to work with every major Pageant in Australia? We seem to think we love working on the flawless faces. In the past month Bodyography has supported Miss Country Girl Australia, Ralph Swimsuit Calendar, Miss Copacabana and Miss Indy. A personal Favourite is the Miss Country girl Australia pageant. With the final held on the amazing Sydney Harbour the Bodyography artistic team , created the looks for over 30 women with the winner only 14 year old Karlee ODonnell from Bendigo. The win was some what sentimental to Bodyography as Bodyography director Rob Tamburro was part of the judging panel who selected Karlee in Bendigo. At 14 years of age she has an amazing future ahead of her.

Bodyography Supports Heartkids Victoria Mothers on their special Day

Just in time for Mother's Day, the Bodyography teamed aimed to brighten the lives of mother's at Heartkids Victoria (including Tasmania) by pampering them from their child's bedside. "Bodyography Australia has donated over $3000 in Bodyography products in the hope to bring some cheer to the amazing mothers,” said Rob Tamburro, director of Bodyography Australia. Mother’s with sick children barely have time to shower, let alone get a hair blow-dry, a manicure or a massage. Spending sleepless nights by their child’s side is not only exhausting, it also takes an emotional toll. The generous Bodyography team provided hair styling, massages, facials, and manicures with a gourmet morning tea and giveaways to all the mother’s of the cardiac ward.

Time Served Fashion Parade Pentridge Prison

Another Fashion Parade but in the most unlikely of places. PRISON. The Bodyography Artistic team assembled 30th April with 12 members involved in total. The production was set at Melbourne’s Pentridge Prison which featured some of Melbourne’s leading and up and coming Designers such as Mathieu Salem, Sleeping Around, Robb and Lulu and Vic Vezzano. The team completed the 25 models in timely fashion with time to spare again proving the teams ability to work under pressure. The looks consisted of Bright Eyes for to match the Robb and Lulu designs, barbed wire, goth and Vampire meets sexy Twilight in line with the feel of the prison.
